Managed 19″ 10-port Gbit Switch now available with PTP/gPTP Support

 

 

The universal managed 10-port Gigabit Switch µMAGBES-A10RR is widely used in rugged and tough environments. This includes railway, defense or maritime applications. The new new packaging variation of the 10-port switch is designed according MPL’s design philosophy which includes; longterm availability, extended temperature capability, flexibility, and low power requirements. Ideal for industrial applications.

The µMAGBES-A10RR can be operated in a Master-Slave configuration, creating a flexible system with cascaded switch, making it easy to increase the number of ports. The 1U 19″ rack solution is available with up to 19 manageable ports. Internally, all LAN lines are equipped with lockable headers.

Does your application require fiber instead of copper, or do some ports need PoE? With MPL’s flexibility, this can easy be implemented, PoE+ with the µEPI module and fiber with our µTX2FX media converter.

 

 

The standard input power of the10-port switch is 5-36VDC and uses less than 6W at full speed (12- port <12W). If your environment provides AC only, then we can offer a solution with the supply
voltage of your choice. The solution is fanless and fully operational in an environment of -20°C up to +60°C, and optionally even at -40°C to +85°C.

The µMAGBES-A10RR supports features such as (but not limited to):

  • Configurable via web interface (including SSL), Telnet, SNMP (incl. SNMPv3) or RS232/USB;
  • 1588 PTP / gPTP support;
  • Port-based and IEEE 802.1Q VLAN;
  • IEEE 802.1D Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol;
  • IEEE 802.1X MAC address checking;
  • Quality of Service;
  • Port monitoring;
  • Switch statistics;
  • Firmware update via HTTP or TFTP;
  • Down- and up-loadable configuration files in XML format;
  • GMPv3 support.
